How To Connect Your Blackberry Phone As Your Pc Modem

As long as you have interest on your phone, you can connect your blackberry internet to your computer through the "Blackberry Desktop Manager" software that is downloadable on  www.blackberry.com. You need to have the software on your phone and computer. The program is called "Tethering".

                                    

Install / launch the blackberry desktop manager on your computer. The program should start after a moment, though it might take some time if it's the first time you are installing it. If it is ready, then follow the steps below to authenticate.

1. Click "IP Modem" on the front page of the application.
2. Click "Connections Settings", you will see the list of Network providers.
3. Choose your Network and click "Configure". Most Network providers will require you to provide a Username and Passoword for their system, Complete all.
4. Before you click OK, look at the bottom left of your screen, you will see a button indicating "Keep IP Modem Connection Open After The Blackberry Desktop Manager is Closed". By clicking this button, your blackberry will still act as a modem even when the program is closed.
