Welcome to Airtel is a new PREPAID plan that allows customers enjoy 5 times the value of EVERY recharge. Though you can migrate to other plans by simply dial the code of your desired package. However, you will not be able to migrate back to Welcome to Airtel plan.
The truth is, you can get Airtel 1.4GB free worth of data when you recharge N1,000 and still have N1,000 on your main account for other value added service plus N2,600 worth of Airtime to call Airtel-to-Airtel numbers.
The only requirement here is for you to get a new Airtel SIM. Old sim will never work with this. New sim works because you are on ‘Welcome to Airtel’ package automatically which offers 5 times value on every recharge to new, prepaid customers on the network.

How To Use The Airtel 4.4GB on All Devices
Once activated, you should be able to use the data on all devices and the free Airtime Bonus to call all network in Nigeria. However, for the Airtel 4.4Gb to work on non-Blackberry devices, you will need to tweak your Android IMEI first, then tether the internet connection via hotspot to other devices.
